UNIFEM is a division of the United Nations that focuses on the quality of women's well-being in     all foreign countries.  The themes that drive UNIFEM's purposes are equality in healthcare, job security, safety, and political presence.  With this in mind, UNIFEM has offices all across the world where colleagues must interact with each other to obtain shared information that may help them on each projects's endeavors.  Why reinvent the wheel when a colleague has already done the work in another country in a similar language and survived the politics of having a success?
Enter TSG One. There was a recognizable vision in the works to qualify each colleagues' work and expertise for use on additional work in other countries. This was fascinating as it allowed TSG One to work as a partner to UNIFEM leaders, driving the need for knowledge management and visibility to other colleagues. As a collaborative effort, we determined it was better for UNIFEM colleagues to work quicker in the field with the knowledge of others's experience.

After reviewing all the requirements, we designed a SharePoint solution that enabled the sharing of profiles, work plans, curriculum vitae, key documentation, cross-department and cross-region collaboration with full authoritative review, sign-off, and compliance methodology.  The new hype around understanding the work of each group around the world was only a part of the excitement.  The ROI was recognized post-deployment when work and communication were so easily facilitated that less time was needed for organization and strategy, devoting more time to the cause.
